Weekly Newsletter - July 9, 2023
Summer feels like its finally in full swing! I'm glad the holiday madness is over, I always get a bit overwhelmed when I feel like I have a bunch of things on my plate. I'm still recovering from a 2 disc replacement surgery in my neck, so I'm trying to slow down and take it easy right now. Anyway, I have some things to share this week that I'm pretty excited about. I hope you enjoy this weeks newsletter!
Kid Approved S'mores Krispie Treats

Don't s'mores feel like a summer staple? Sometimes they're so messy and I don't feel like dealing with that. These are so delish and give you the s'mores flavor without a sticky mess.
My kids would eat these everyday if I let them. You only need 4 ingredients, I saved money with Walmart, sticking with mostly Great Value brand items, and scheduling a pickup makes it even simpler. To shop the ingredients needed click here. I also showed the entire process in an Instagram reel. Make sure you're following me there for lots of fun content. Sunscreen Favorites for Myself & the Kids

One of the biggest questions I get asked this time of year is for sunscreen recommendations. I know some of them feel icky on the skin, and most times you might find something you like but don't necessarily like that sunscreen on your face. I'm going to share what I like to use on my body & I definitely use something different on my face.
You can see me using Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration here. This feels weightless on your skin, has moisturizing properties & is an SPF 30. I reapply every 1-2 hours.
I also like Coppertone Glow. It is also an SPF 30 with a gradual self tanner, so it can help you look like you have more of a natural tan without having to spend as much time in the sun.
For my face, I have found my holy grail. It's not sticky, it's very sheer & lightweight. Makeup can also be applied over top of it without looking cakey. Kinship Self Reflect is the best facial sunscreen that I've come across. For after sun, I like Banana Boat Moisturizing After Sun Lotion.

Now for the little ones, we absolutely love Babyganics brand. My kids are somewhat afraid of spray on sunscreens, especially near their face. Babyganics makes an awesome Mineral Rollerball. It's so easy to apply and its an SPF 50! We also like to use their Sunscreen Stick on their faces, it is SPF 50 as well. My little Magnolia has more sensitive skin, and this has never given her any redness or rashes. She even loves to try to apply the rollerball herself! Skincare & protecting the skin is something I am very adamant about, especially for my little girls who are pretty fair. We don't want sunscreen application to be something they are resistant to. These products make it fun, quick & easy!
A Healthy Product Recommendation & Cute PJ Set
I've been using a collagen powder and I really like it so naturally I need to share it with you! Primal Collagen by Primal Harvest supports healthy skin and elasticity from within to help promote vibrant skin health for a more youthful, glowing-looking complexion. Which is great, right? But I also chose this one because it supports bone & joint health! With having a 2 disc replacement recently, that is super important to me now. Primal supports joint comfort and flexibility, as well as supporting healthy bone mass. It also features 20mg of calcium for additional support. It doesn't have any flavor, I've been adding it to my morning coffee. To order (via amazon) or for more info, click here. I'm also going to link this 3 piece pajama set because its so cute & comfy! Look Amazing at the Beach or by the Pool!
If you didn't know, I have a little boutique inside of Retro Renegades in Hammonton, NJ. I'm going to share some things I have currently that I love!

Want to step up your beach fashion game? Let's get you ready with my stylish beach essentials. Our Open Top sun hats are great for air flow or if you don't want to mess up that perfect pony/bun. The cool thing about them is that they're hand woven in Bali, by Balinese women in their traditional way. This also helps those women earn money to support their families and tribes. I have them in 2 colors and they're $45 each.

Also pictured is this super fun Leopard Jute Beach Bag for $50. Our sunglasses are only $15!! They're great quality & look so cute on. I have one pair of the tan flip flops in a size 8 for $10. This is such a cute look, and everything is neutral so you can pair it with most swimsuits or outfits.

If you're local, stop in & check us out!!
We are located at 11 12th Street Hammonton, NJ 08037. If you really like something and are not local, we can always figure out a shipping price to send something to you! Just send me a Facebook message here for that option. <3
